Project Intended Learning Outcomes 
This project satisfies the following Module Intended Learning Outcomes:
 apply contemporary API and frameworks to enhance design and usability (AR App)
Brief 
In this project, you need to create or make use of an existing children book with images. Create AR app that can 
enhance the user experience of reading the book and show additional relevant information and digital media.
Some marking criteria: 
1) App icon 
2) At least 5 pages / tracking images. More the better
3) At least 3 virtual objects / environments are available and appear at appropriate 3D positions. 
4) At least 1 relevant video footage
5) Simple tap gesture interaction. (Game like complicated interaction is not necessary, though bonus marks may be 
obtained.)
6) Relevancy of information, video, and virtual objects/environment to the message / style / objective of the book / 
catalogue
7) Visual Quality of media
8) Exploration of using audio clips when displaying virtual object / environment

Late Submission Penalties
 5% of final mark will be deducted for the submission not fulfilling the requirement of submission format.
 Assessment submitted within 1 week after the deadline, a penalty of 10 marks would be applied. (e.g. a mark 
of 67 would become 57 after the penalty)
 Submission after 1 week (on the 8th day) will not be accepted. Therefore, zero grade would be given.
 For the failed case, resubmission within 1 week would be allowed and a maximum of 40 percentage marks 
would be given for the concerned assessment.
